"I gave up after the third season. I understand your frustration... the 'Lori Grimes' grimes character drove me crazy, because she was always sliding from this option to that one, but I just watched the first and second episodes again and remembered why I got interested in the first place. IMO this the most innovative program on TV right now...

In the first two seasons they greatly overused the plot device of people not knowing where others are and having to go look for them. The low point for me was in the second season when Rick when out to look for Hershel, then Lori went out to look for Rick, then Shane went out to look for Lori, who was looking for Rick who was looking for Hershel.
Just have them find a walkie talkie and stop using that plot device.
