Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) reaffirmed her commitment to stay on as Democratic National Committee chairwoman in the aftermath of reports suggesting the party is souring over her leadership.
I was elected to a four-year term, and I will serve as DNC chair till Jan. 21, 2017, she said to the Sun Sentinel.

A Politico article published last month said Wasserman Schultz is losing the support of prominent Democrats, including President Obama. It also said the White House debated replacing her as DNC chair, going as far as selecting a candidate before deciding against the change. The report came out the day before Wasserman Schultz appeared at a DNC event with Vice President Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Both praised her work as head of the DNC chair.
Ive never seen anybody work as hard and as tirelessly as Debbie has, Biden said in September. If we want anybody to do that 60 seconds or 120 seconds we get to respond to some attack on the president or on the administration, the best person is always Debbie.
The next month will be an uphill climb for Wasserman Schultz, as Republicans are almost a lock to hold control of the House and could make more gains to their majority since midterm elections almost always spell trouble for the presidents party.

The countdown has begun, I give her until 3 days after the mid-terms.
