As a lifelong Cardinal’s fan, that’s a very fun fact.
That said, this year the Cards were average at best and have no idea how they won the Central. Friday’s matchup with Dodgers will decide if they can advance to NLCS.
As an aside, I’m right-handed but learned to bat left-handed because the great Stan Musial was my baseball idol. And as a left-handed golfer, Stan still effects me to this day.
