Whenever I read a story like this the first thing I check for is whether it is in the US. Our constitution is quite unique and I don’t expect to see it here.

Sarcasm, right? Not sure...

Your inference is correct. We WILL see this sort of thing here in America. But it won't be by government order. It will be voluntary, compliance by political correctness.

Mom-and-pop stores might resist, but the big stores will comply. Let one muslum complain about a sign on a door, or the color of a chair (or some such nonsense), and the big stores will comply.

It's not that they are stupid. It's that they are cowards.

No. I’m serious. When I say “I don’t expect to see it here”, I mean regarding the story du-jure.

I do expect to see it here eventually, but it can’t go very far. At this point, its happening in europe is a dog bites man story, but when it happens here it is a “man bites dog” story.

e.g. our constitution prevents the application of saria law in any legally binding way.

I think he was being straight on this. A friend of mine works for McDonalds at their corporate office in the suburbs of Chicago and she indicated many of the non-US franchises and their employees have more autonomy than they would prefer. When many of these locations first opened, customers were predominantly native British or European citizens. Things have really changed in the past 25 years.

I was in a London fish and chip shop in 1991 and the food was good and cheap. I went back in 2002 and the same shop was in poor condition and run by an Asian (code word for Pakistani). The blue-collar neighborhood and the food quality went downhill pretty badly.
