Of course they don’t have locking jaws. But they won’t release their bite and are strong enough it cannot be forced open.

There are people who believe, and who post on FR 'pit bull' threads, that pit bulls have locking jaws. After you say 'of course they don't,' Google it to see whether it's obvious to everyone that they don't have locking jaws.

It is extremely difficult to force a pit bull's jaws open if it doesn't want to open it's jaws.
