SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- It was a long night for the Eagles, who had to endure numerous fire alarms going off in their Bay Area hotel early Sunday morning.
Long-time Eagles radio play-by-play voice Merrill Reese said the first alarm at the Santa Clara Hyatt rang at about 2 a.m.
Reese said the Eagles contingent was staying on the upper floors at the hotel and had to use the stairs to go downstairs and outside while the alarm was investigated.
He said after about half an hour, everybody was cleared to return to their rooms, but once they did, another alarm went off.

This stuff happens more than you think. I know a guy in Calgary who used to be part of a “disruption crew” who pulled these kind of hijinks in hotels when the Detroit Redwings came to town. His thing was running up and down the hallways at 2:30 am with an air horn.
Probably a protesting liberal. Most of them are offended by the team’s mascot.
other teams’ fans or hired goons to disrupt opposing teams’ rest.
I just figured out what they should change the name do the Redskins to. The Windmills - kills the Eagles with impunity.

It was another early Tequila Sunrise
“Reese said the alarms continued throughout the morning. He said they only affected a part of the hotel where about 20 to 25 players were lodged. He said he was outside during the alarm with quarterback Nick Foles and most of the starting offensive line, among others.”
Sabotage. Way cool.
