He is funny in the Coen brothers movies. Ulysses Everett McGill and Miles Massey are great characters. He was funny in “Burn After Reading” too, but John Malkovich, Brad Pitt and Tilda Swinton overshadowed George in that movie. He was also good in “The Descendants” and “Michael Clayton.”

both average movies, especially Clayton. That was so boring I shut it off and threw the DVD in the garbage..........

As I said before, he's nothing but an average actor who just happens to have the "look".....
