Her story already has holes in it...or at least the reporting has holes. Previous FR article (DailyNews.com) said the tips were $2000 each.

Perhaps the confusion lies in the fact that in the article it states that Rush was with Al Michaels. Perhaps they both left 1,000 tips. Thus the total was 2,000 but only 1,000 came from Rush.
