Nothing seems more scare you $hitless than the A-10 Thunderbolt or Warthog. The sound and shape of those things is just amazing.

The problem over there is we supplied the enemy with shoulder fired anti aircraft missiles which would play hell on low altitude close support aircraft.

I don't think we'll use many Apaches, A-10's, 130 gun ships, and such. Mostly high altitude stuff.

I hadn’t heard that. All of them should have been transferred to the Army 20 years ago. Why the Air Farce has them is beyond me.
