I love the F22, but when we’re all done pin pricking them will they finally run away?
So tired of these ANKLE BITER missions.
Kill them all or kill them all NOW. There really is no option.

"On Mar. 27, 1999, the fourth night of Operation Allied Force over Serbia, an F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter jet was shot down while returning to Aviano airbase, in northern Italy after bombing a target near Belgrade."
It was invisible to radar but not to the naked eye. And the Serbian air defenses somehow knew where and when to look for incoming bombers.
I think that was the first combat for the F117A but maybe it was used in Operation Just Cause (Panama) 1989. I think by that time the F117A was in the white world.

A principle I was taught was that you always use the best you have available - you certainly don’t not use your most modern weapons just because you are afraid of losing them.
First of all, if you’ve got that attitude, you may as well not have the weapons. But secondly if you’re worried about losing your newest technology, you should be even more worried about the survivability of the older technology - and remember that technology has living, breathing people inside it. You owe it to them to send them into battle with the best you have whenever you can.
(Old doesn’t always mean bad, and new doesn’t always mean better - sometimes older tech can have particular advantages in particular situations - but you don’t go old out of fear).

Thankfully the Russians and Syrian are not shooting. I guess we’ve decided that ISIS is worse than Assad; for now. I wonder what we gave up in the deal?

Good. Get rid of the B-2 and use the money to buy more F-22s and cruise missiles.

An the first use of the ultra deadly, stealthy F-22 Raptor was as a BOMBER! We used a super secret, fifth generation, stealth fighter as a bomber and we only have 195 (8 test and 187 operational aircraft) of them because they were so costly at $150 million (and are now out of production). This is utter insanity. We could have used F-15E Strike Eagles, but the F-22 Raptor!?!? What are the idiots in USAF HQ thinking?
To: Jet Jaguar
Are you sure about this? The first time?
