It has made blacks wealthy and famous who otherwise would have been shot dead in the streets or ended up in prison.

That speech/press conference was the biggest load of PR doublespeak/nothingness I’ve ever heard. As someone said, Goodell checked all the boxes and then walked away. I frankly don’t care what the NFL does about “domestic abuse.” As far as I’m concerned it’s a law enforcement matter, but don’t go all community organizer/social worker/ family therapist and then take a hike. And why hasn’t the issue of race come into this conversation. like it does everything else? After all, the perps are predominately black.
A ‘Stern’ review, even by Howard’s “standards” is in order, but maybe not by jesters and jokers.. And posers.

It is amazing that so few people see what is happening.
A great source of discouragement is how conservatives ignorantly contribute to the soviet, totalitarian-mentality atmosphere.
The SPCA, Madd, domestic violence orgs, EPA, the absurd war on drugs, and much more, are 10% directed at real things and 90% directed at criminalizing American life.
But much more so they are directed toward creating a compliant mentality. They have almost zero beneficial effect otherwise.
They have succeeded.
Sadly, Black men seem to have a reputation of violence, of beating women and children. Pro football has overwhelming amount of blacks now, so that’s why this is all coming into focus. VERY SAD.
Sad the NFL I remember of Johnny Unitas and Roger Stabach has turned into WWE style Kabuki theatre.
