Snap!
Good morning!
Scots vote no...the socialists beat the far left socialists. Guess that’s a win.
Mrs p6 is still at the farm. I’m getting into bed earlier but when she isn’t here I tend to not eat or do anything worthwhile.
Good morning n’@!
Scotland is STILL part of the UK. The not so far left socialists won. Now MAYBE the Scots will END massive muslim immigration. Or something. There should be some lesson learned from this.
It’s Friday, so what documents (or decrees from King Barry) will come forth?
And anyone else find it strange that the governor ads have all but gone silent? Both sides started out gang busters...now it’s like “what gov race?”
Morning! Busy morning. Just sat down at the computer to work on the hair. Now I know why some women get the super short haircuts. Sorry, not me!
I’ve been following the discussion, on the Pa board of FreeRepublic, about the gov. race. I’m holding my nose and voting for Corbett. The alternative is just to awful, though polls seem to indicate that Corbett is far behind.
Yes...Gov. Wolf is a scary, scary, thought. He, I fear, will turn PA’s oilfields to South Upstate New York. I just can’t believe the “T” (ie, Alabama) of Pennsylvania will go blue.
Corbett doesn’t seem like he’s trying, as if he doesn’t even want the job. Hope Wolf turns out to be more of a pragmatist than a socialist, but I have my doubts.
List of what we were promised by a Corbett administration:
1. Voter ID - passed late, stopped by judge, Corbett gives up refusing to fight further
2. Reallocate Electoral College votes by congressional district instead of overall to curb Philly fraud - Corbett gives up after whining by RINOs
3. Privatize State Stores - Corbett unwilling to go the mat against obstructing RINOs
4. No tax increases - Corbett caves to RINOs wanting to throw around PennDOT cash
5. State Pension Crisis - Corbett unwilling to go to the mat against union tool obstructing RINOs
6. Gay Marriage - activist ruling by Judge authorizes, Corbett gives up refusing to fight further
Tom Corbett: “That boy got a lot of quit in him”
it’s way past time for the rest of PA to secede from Philadelphia.
Good summary. Yup. He’s a real cave man (always caving to the Democrats).
Just like in Quebec, independence sounds like a great idea until they realize that means having to pay your own bills.
But will they block Wolf? There’s been enough RINOs from the eastern side of the state to block any kind of real reform for decades. They’re too busy pushing smoking bans and the like.
To be fair, you have to admit that Rothfus has been very under the radar these last two years but how visible can a conservative rep be under the horrible boehner regime?
Seriously though, it is time for a movement to split PA somewhere around the Susquehanna.
Big, Bad Wolf scares me. Taxes are high enough, thank you - and on too many things already. Plus, taxing corporations is never a good idea. They don’t get it.
With Rothfus being a newbie, he probably had a lot to go against with the “established” Rino’s in DC. I’d vote for him again.
On the positive (personal) side - I adopted a kitty last night. We had our Puska for 14 years and he died last Nov (heart failure). We felt it was time to open our home again and we brought home a little girl kitty, Polka. :)
All quiet on the Quinn and Rose front???
