A local newspaper had an article about the doctor from Holden, MA (right next door to me) that is recovering from Ebola in Nebraska. I asked the question, “What’s to say that he is just going into remission and still carries the virus, which has gone dormant. He could still pass it to others, right?”

Well....the first thing we must know, is that the devil is a LIAR. So, whether or not this plague has gone dormant means very little to that LIAR. Satan “wants” us to be confused about the very thing you, and others may ask, and are not sure of...instead of TRUSTING God to keep you from it.
People have to learn to understand that we live in a Fallen World, and that so many things we (think) we have to suffer in this world are simply by-products of being in a “fallen state”. That’s just what it’s like to live in a place where Satan is the ruler. Which Also leads me to say, because of man’s rebellion toward God and the Very One He sent to save us from this world...We are being “Judged”. The whole world is. But particularly, America. For she is a ‘canker’ in the eyes of our God.
Unlike humans, God goes beyond what WE deserve in as far as “reaching us” so that we may not perish....like the world. Yet another reason why mankind needs a Savior!
So...to answer your question, I would say to TRUST GOD, so that you never have to wonder about something like that again. You can be free from that ‘bondage’ that Satan keeps the people of the world in with his lies, and deception. Just as the “World” loves it’s own, God Loves His Own,and keeps them. Satan, just want us spiritually dead. Remember: Fear=death. Trust & Faith in God=LIFE
