That’s curious to me, as well. I happen to believe Nigel Farage has the correct take: That if Scotland divides from England, they will in their minds achieve a sort of something, but they will be forced to become a fiefdom of Brussels. They will have to become Euronerds in order to have any sort of strength, and will lose currency-printing capability which they have now, as part of Britain.
Why they would want to do this is absolutely beyond me, I can’t think of anything worse than being a Belgian colony and I can’t imagine anyone with genuine Scottish blood would tolerate even thinking about it.
But, I would imagine libs would really, really support the idea because it would bring another country under the wise, wonderful one-world unelected government of Brussels.
Scotland is simply a beautiful country, it is unimaginable, with their history and pride, that they could go with this separation. But this is the type of thinking that I expect from libs and folks who are blitheringly ignorant of history——but to hear you say that Scottish libs oppose separation-—I find that surprising, but that’s just me projecting my impressions.
Scotland suffered the same fate as England, both world wars successfully thinned out the population of testosterone laden males and left them with wankers. England has a leg up because of sheer numbers but they are circling the drain as well due to the decimation of two whole generations of men.
Why they would want to do this is absolutely beyond me,
