Opiates also refer to sleep inducing drugs, so both alcohol and pot could be considered such.

Pot has demonstrated hallucinogenic effects, amd is why it is classed as such, just like LSD. The effects are not as powerful as LSD, but are very real, none the less.

I am sorry you have been mislead all your life, but pot is not the harmless herb you have been told.

I never said it was harmless, just doesn’t cause hallucinations.

I'll buy that for certain populations or gargantuan doses it can have hallucinogenic effects - but last I heard it was not classified as a hallucinogen but a euphoric. What is your source for your claim?
