As we await word that Quinn and Rose are returning to the airwaves,(they're working on it!) our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will continue to meet in our usual spot as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, so stop in to say hi! Feel free to join us!
Snap!
Mornin’ everybuddy!
Good morning!
7.1 quake near Guam.
Clear Channel is renamed iHeartMedia. Over the air radio is going away. Quinn might have made a smart move.
Good morning n’@!
Mom Nature a tad unsettled this morning...offshore Guam had a 7.1 EQ (very deep...so probably NOT much damage). And the caldera at Iceland’s Bardarbunga is sinking (about 50 cm a day) ...not good in terms that a bigger “blow” (massive!) would accompany caldera collapse. I wonder if tomorrow would be the day Bardarbunga erupts and it it would affect (so2 ash cloud) the Scottish elections?
Here in PA, they closed Pike County Public Schools due to the THREAT posed by the PSP shooter. Frien is still at large and considered armed and dangerous.
Who knows what havoc TyphoidBarry will bring today (maybe the USAF to fight the EV-68D).
Can we ever have a boring day?
42F here...
Tsumani warning up for Marianna islands. I can’t find any aftershocks posted.
MOrning!
At this rate, I’d settle for boring! I saw the thread about the earthquake about Guam. A freeper made a comment about it tipping over! lol! (ala Cummings) Son was there while in the navy. Loved it!
I’ve been looking fo that, thanks! Want to save it for mrs p6.
LOL! Thanks! I was thinking it was Elijah Cummnings!
We have some real winners in congress!
Just a template for now via word press but finally the WJAS site seems to be starting up

Yup...seems like Jim is a day late. Hopefully not a dollar short.
If WTAE goes dark in the next few days OTA commercial radio is dead. Happening a lot faster than I thought.
When everything is digital it might be like old block programming. Everything is so fractured that advertisers will buy programs not stations.
What might save things for awhile would be a huge upturn in the economy. Local advertisers might be able to afford buys.
Not likely....sigh.
