Yet back in 1989 I saw on CNN Crossfire where the left was complaining that there were disproportionately too many opportunities for blacks in the military. On the left were some “civil rights” types and on the right were Alan Keyes and Colonel Fred Cherry USAF (retired). It was the first time I saw Alan Keyes in action.
