To: Safrguns

My grandson plays this game all the time and of course likes us to play with him when we’re over. I find it so incredibly boring lol. If I were better at remembering how to use the crafting table and what collected items make what object it might be more interesting. As it stands right now, I just go along chopping at trees and blocks and maybe making a house and zombie characters in create mode, all while acting like I’m having some kind of fun lol...because I love my grandkid:)

This is very true.

Most games have a set path you are supposed to follow in order to “win” the game. Minecraft on the otherhand leaves this to the player. You can pretty much play it any way you like. There is an objective (killing the dragon), as well as other game bosses now, but for the most part you establish your own challenges.

My oldest son is in college working on an engineering degree. First thing one of his instructors did was refer minecraft as an excellent sandbox for electrical circuitry.
Mastering redstone wiring in the game is a real hoot.
