One of the first jobs a friend of mine had after he was hired on as a permanent was to go to Omaha and determine the cause of “random” activations of the hanger’s fire suppression foaming system while an E4B was in the hanger. This made a big mess and was expensive. They discovered that contrary to protocol, the technical maintenance person was keying on the plane’s radio transmission system while the plane was in the hanger. The RFI was overwhelming the foam system electronic sensors and turning on the foam.
I think I remember that!!! thanks for the info.
