The San Francisco 49ers have suspended team radio broadcaster Ted Robinson two games for remarks he made about Ray Rice and domestic violence this week.
While talking about Rice during a segment on KNBR-AM on Monday, Robinson had this to say about Rice's wife Janay, "How does she marry him after that? How does she go in front of Goodell? That's pathetic to me," Robinson said.

It is pathetic. She is making things worse.
Nothing that an “apology” and a little bag o’ Jelly Beans sensitivity training can’t cure. LOL!
I put on the TV a few moments ago and saw a preview for something called “Good Wife” and the woman slaps her man across the face. Why is this accepted? Rush even mentioned something similar earlier in the week. Pop culture sends warped images to this society.

Was there more quotes in the link? What’s so outrageous about what he said?
Nothing. And I read a letter to the editor today from a woman who defended the victim by saying she likely had abuse in her family and is in denial. We are now blaming people in her family?
I also see nothing wrong with what he said?
The NFL is pathetic.
Sports in general these days; like days of old we truly have bread and circus’.
yep, the love of my life just rattled my brain, your Honor, with his fist. I’m going to marry that dude ... I’m in Love. Pathetic. Money does strange things to people of both sexes.
The ESPN types love (or are ordered to) denigrate baseball as being behind the times. They love to say “The NFL GETS it!” “The NBA GETS it!”
This orgy of PC hysteria in the NFL & NBA this past week is hysterical. There’s not a grown-up in either league willing to stand up.
(Oh, by the way ... Tony Stewart murdered a guy last month. He was a 20 year old nobody (probably a redneck), so no outrage.)
I especially enjoy the female country singers’ lyrics about burning down houses with people inside, vandalizing cars etc.
If a man sang those words he’d be in jail inside an hour for Thoughtcrime but when the ladies do it well, it’s all in good fun. Girl power etc.
yes still waiting for the charges
watching pro sports is the same as watching WWF wrestling or NASCAR
Idiotic
and then there's the money....
all this debacle shows is how PATHETIC the NFL elite are and how HYPOCRITICAL they are....to think that Rush wasn't good enough for them and then they sit on the video for months until they get exposed....worse than what Rice did IMO...
And what Pete Rose said weeks ago is coming to light. He said it would have been better if he was violent, in so many words, than a gambler. He is banned for life but abusive people have a second chance.
I heard on the tv at work today somebody on espee that being a man means KNOWING you're a man...that your strength is so far superior to a woman's or a child or an elderly person, and that's why you can never strike..
Yep, who speaks for me?
He basically said that any woman who marries a man who knocks her out cold is pathetic.
That's horribly insensitive, you see. It's understood now that a woman MUST marry a man if he only knocks her out cold. But if he upgrades the relationship by mangling, strangling, throttling, and maiming her, then the marriage may be reconsidered.
See, it's simple really if you hate women as much as the "progressives" do.
Why does everybody keep calling this “domestic” violence. These people were not married and not in their home at the time of the incident. They were both apparently drunk in a public place in New Jersey. Why was this man not arrested and charged with felony assault? The prosecutor does not need the woman to press charges for him to press charges on behalf of the state. Looks like dereliction of duty by the law enforcement authorities to me.
Too much attention being made by the media over this incident that is so far down on my list of what is important to the country right now, that is doesn’t even deserve a number.
