We get a call from the RTO anytime an X class flare is heading towards us. What made it interesting was we got the call 10 min after the flare was observed. That and an M class flare is plowing the way for its bigger brother. It doesn’t happen often and directed at earth
If the best case happens all we see are some auroras, worst case breakers trip, protection relays fry and transformers short out during the spike on the lines.
