Would it be dangerous to pull into a convenience store for dinner?
I have lived in Memphis for over 40 years. It is a wonderful city. I am sick and tired of all of this paranoia being dumped on us by people who don’t have a clue. There is evil everywhere. You can’t live your life in constant fear, or you will have no life at all.

In Memphis or Jackson, MS, it all depends on the part of town and the time of day. I am in Memphis every day and I carry a gun on me even in the best parts of town. I do the same when I am in Jackson, MS.
In the more rural areas of MS I am often more prone to leaving my gun in the console of my car because I have never had a single problem. Unless ethnic hostility ramps up (and it well may) I wouldn’t be too concerned about my safety anywhere in the Delta. I would still try to use common sense. For instance, I would not stop any place with a group of black teens hanging around and I would be extra-selective after dark.
There is one near here that has 2 hot dogs for $1.49!
The clerk is not named Apu either
