I was at a 1,000-yd range in northcentral PA just after buying the Barrett 82A1 .50 BMG, and another shooter fired-off an illegal phosphorous round, burning down all the target stand lumber, and it spread to a neighbor’s barn and house. The range closed, rules changed and the range re-opened in 2011 with very strict rules. My membership lapsed, and I was back as a gues just before I sold the Barrett, to show it to the 2 buyers from VA.

Commonsense should always prevail in dry/drought conditions, or have a fire dept tanker standing at-the-ready.
