Sorry, $250 for a free cat?

The deposit here for a pet is $250. If she wants me to take her cat, she will have to pay the deposit. Otherwise, it's a no-go. She said it would have to be on the hush-hush so her hubby doesn't know, but I don't care where she gets the money...it's going right to the office for the deposit.

I just can't afford it. I couldn't even get my nitro and the steroid for my nebulizer this week, so there is no way I can pay for the deposit. They will let me carry it over three months, I can't even afford that.

If she reneges on it the cat is going to the shelter. I have no choice.And she had better understand that up front.
