She was a very good cat.
She loved to play “pick me up”.
The objective was for the human to pick her up from the computer chair.
She’d smirk, grab the chair, and purr loudly as you dragged the chair along.
It was a ritual for her.
She got too old though, being a skinny mite tends to make such roughhousing rather risky.
She’d gripe about that too.
Jinx, Sneakers, and Socks all got mooneyed at Rags as well.
All the three tried at differing times to play.
Jinx seems rather put out that the Rags is missing.
Gaaaah!
We have them in my neighborhood, too. There are always deer tracks on the trail to the playground.
Plants hostas.
Usually if you have them, you shortly have deer, then shortly no more host as, but an overabundance of cloven hoofed mice...
I don’t like hostas. The deer can just stay on the other side of the street.
Evil idea: gift your neighbor with hostas.
Gah, we want GOOD relationships with our neighbors.
“ Kinda like a reality show based on madlibs.
“If this isnt a thing yet, it should be.””
There was a sit-com in the nineties based around a family of five.
The Adults and older Boy where semi-scripted but the Younger Girl and Boy where not.
The situations used where the normal everyday events:
Late for work,
Late for School,
Raining during the Holidays,
The Two younger ones must have been pumped up on Sugar.
It fitted the “Madlibs” concept perfectly.
(2Point4 children, for the u-tube minded)
How Nice.
They will eat any flowers that happen to be growing in your yard.
I’ve had two of those over the years as Hood Ornaments.
Morning TC,
Over cast but warm.
We have fog.
Speaking of which, I managed to clock in eleven hours. I needed it so much!
It's 71 degrees, and will remain windy and cool today, which will make the car show fun. Of course, it could have been washed out last night. We had some hellacious winds accompanying the power failure and the rain.
I believe it's a Class B Misdemeanor in eleven states.
lol
if they want to race downhill they will need to invent wheels
I am safely ensconced in my secondary position, an undisclosed location in the wilds of Pennsylvania.
There are no cats, and it is very peaceful.
But I have work to do.
I don’t know if the sleep did it or what, but I feel so much better today; I even feel like I could handle some Pink Drink, if I had any. I’ve don’t almost all I can do to please the Inspection Nazis for next week, so for today, I will just take mental inventory.
The car show may not take place. Since Busdaddy checked it out yesterday morning, he may not want to go today. That’s OK. If I want, I can go, anyway. It’s within walking distance. Of course, Home is uphill, so I will have to take the easy way...down to the bottom of Water Street from here to the top and then home, which is a gradual incline. Not like the other way around...
I REALLY need to call the thrift store dispatch and have them come and get the pile of stuff I have in the patio. I think if they come on Monday, it will still be good because I’m almost to the end of the complex, and inspections start at the beginning.
*sheesh*
I’m happy to hear you’re feeling better! James, Vlad, Frank, Kathleen and I spent the morning distributing flyers about the church festival in a neighborhood much fancier than ours. We saw only one cat.
Now we have to go to A-Plus Vacuums to get more bags for the Riccar.
I need to call about the load for the thrift store before it gets too late. I’m on a roll, cleaning stuff up.
Let’s hope it doesn’t stop here. I would like to see at least some of the car show.
