The short snout is Persian genes. Watch out: Persian females are known to be domineering.

It’s much more dangerous when it’s raining cats. Dogs just don’t have the same clawness.

Don’t you get water in your shoes if you step on a Portuguese Water Dog or a Chesapeake Bay Retriever?

Celebrating on September 25?

I had a friend who had a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and he lived in a beach community.
Dog kept trying to bring it in the back door.

"Congress adopting the Bill of Rights and sending it to the states for ratification." We've got to do something about those radicals in Washington. They're completely out of hand.

"Congress adopting the Bill of Rights and sending it to the states for ratification."It was just a trick. The Bill of Rights is fungible, but the Interstate Commerce Clause is forever.

Kathleen has just turned up with her pants hiked up above her knees. This may portend Rising Water. I’ll have to check the bathroom to see if the cats have taken shelter ...

I'm not surprised.
I've only known one Chesapeake Bay Retriever on a personal level and he was . . . an interesting dog.

There’s something fishy about a dog with webbed feet.

While I blame nobody but myself ... have been giving thought to the profound wisdom of my upbringing during the ‘duck and cover’ days. Was probably broken by the truth of those days of youth and never able to repair myself well enough to listen to the duck. The duck always imparted the true meaning of the ‘duck and cover’ days. The real meaning was duck, cover your eyes, tuck your head between your legs and plant a kiss on your rear. Grew up after that point to understand that strategy was completely useless so decided to attempt to make a difference. A difference was never able to make but will pat self and duck on the back for trying.

I knew a cute, freckled, smart, funny ginger coed in college who had a web between two toes. Based on that experience, I have nothing bad to say about webbed feet.
