I believe my brother tried to tip a cow once. It didn’t budge. Then he grabbed it’s tail, and the cow started running in circles with my brother hanging on. The other cows just watched with amusement.

No right minded cow would allow itself to be tipped.

My grandfather had a dairy operation in eastern NC with about 110 milkers. When my younger sister was about five she decided that she wanted a calf. Grandfather told her she could have one if she could catch it.

BIG MISTAKE!

Early the next summer, when she was six, here she comes with a calf with a rope around its neck and mama cow coming on fast. You can imagine the tantrum when dad wouldn't let her take it home in the car. She was barely mollified when grandfather told her the calf wasn't old enough to leave her mama and that he would keep the calf there on the farm so she could visit it. By the next summer she had forgotten all about it.
