Morning!
If any of yunz missed it, here’s Quinn’s latest message on The Warroom:
Message From Quinn:
“While on vacation it has come to my attention that a tweet of mine has caused some
misunderstanding. Upon re-reading it , I can see that it could be misleading. I wrote it
while I was in a rush and leaving for vacation(dont try this at home folks).
Please allow me to set the record straight:
Frank Iorio did indeed talk with us about doing the show on his station WJAS. He
DID offer to stream it live on I Heart Radio. However, I desired to stream it exclusively on
Warroom.com.
In the end, It was my decision to take my brand; The Warroom in a different direction.
Streaming on I Heart did not fit into the business model I had in mind for the show.
We ended our talks amicably with each party wishing the other great success.
We sincerely wish Frank the very best. Rose has said on several occasions that Frank Iorio
rescued talk radio in Pittsburgh and gave it a home, and I agree.
As soon as I get back from vacation I will wrap up all the loose ends and have more
information for you in terms of the direction of The Warroom.
I hope I was able to clear this up for you,
Jim Quinn”
So last week I moved things around in our garage. Moved the Harley against a wall because it's probably not going anywhere for awhile.
Now when you pull in the bike is right in front of the front bumper. Mrs p6 suggested I hang a tennis or wiffle ball from the ceiling so when the windshield touches the ball you know to stop and won't bump the bike.
I got a bit more creative. Took this pic last night with my $10 Tracfone so it's not very good but you get the idea.
The new neighbors might be having second thoughts...
Good morning n’@!
Me thinks Quinn muddied the waters a tad more w/explanation 2.0...but let’s see what happens when he “gets back.”
A neighborhood in my Twp was on news last night; road caving in due to subsidence (bad fill used back in the 60s). What was shown on news...tip of iceberg. Not just roadbeds w/issues...entire residential streets. My co-worker and I have been counting the floor bumps where we work (concrete floor under commercial carpeting cracking and plates rising). What ever they built this area on top of (back in the day) a lot of it is shifting badly) in a lot of places. Several years ago, one of our Catholic elementary schools had to close, and an apartment bldg condemned (both torn down) due to pyrite/fill issues that cropped up quickly (went from some floor and wall cracks to condemnation in a blink).
Like Rosanne Rosannadanna said “it’s always something.”
Mornin’ everybuddy!
I’m glad he explained what happened. My next question is—do they have anything else in the works?
So Quinn, stream it on Warroom, but link to it from I Heart.
Should be possible.
