My Saint Bernard freaks during thunderstorms. She’s on Xanax for that. Thundershirts, yeah right.

I haven’t noticed a mosquito problem here. Lots of grasshoppers and crickets this Summer, but they don’t do anything to me.

Where I live there are no thunderstorms.
But I did live in Mexico City for two years (long ago) and their thunderstorms were BODACIOUS! Since Mexico City is 7400 high, the thunderstorms seemed like they were right outside the windows. Yikes.

Too much smog there for ANY bugs to survive.
