The Trifecta of F’ups
Instructor/Mom/Dad
I’ve fired(I’m 6’1” 300#) an Uzi and they (as all full autos do) climb.
That or Any 9 year old should have NEVER had that Firearm handed to her loaded.

He could have prevented this accident by not putting more than three rounds in the magazine, and keeping hands-on control of the weapon when she fired. The Instructor had a lapse in judgment with disastrous results.
If they wanted to have the girl shoot a "machine" gun they should have given her an AR. It has a lot longer barrel and wouldn't have gotten away from her when she pulled the trigger. It would have climbed on her BUT straight up. The very short barreled UZI "whipped" up and back on her. She is lucky she didn't shoot herself TOO.

Add in the fact that a father handed his son the same weapon at a gun show not long ago with the result that the son died on the spot. The instructor MUST have heard the report...
Sorry, ma. Gotta lay this one at the instructors now deceased feet....always stand behind the firing line. Had he followed that, the 30 rounds would have been spent when the barrel went vertical.
Now for the funny...the joint is called the “Last Stop”...it’s the ONLY stop between Boulder Dam, and Kingman, AZ. And there is a public airstrip 100 yards down range of the machine gun berms;-)
