God warned, way back in Moses’ day (Leviticus, Chapter 26) of what would happen if they didn’t listen to Him and disregarded His commandments. Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

Corrupted seed is corrupt descendants. Dung on your face and in your holy feasts their religion) means they will never be righteous.
I think it was prophetic for Islam.
