I would check out the Buffalo Wild Wings. Yes, it’s a national chain but the original one in Buffalo is worth checking out.

There is also a wonderful little restaurant in Lackawana, a suburb south of Buffalo - a little Italian restaurant that has world class lasagna. The restaurant’s name is Mulberry Italian Ristorante, and it was featured on the Food Channel on Drive-ins, Diners, and Dives. http://www.mulberryitalianristorante.com/ It is a neighborhood place and doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it is a slice of heaven inside.
