I remember a previous discussion here where xsmommy was irate about somebody wearing a light colored suit, so I thought about you all when I posted a story about the tan suit last night.

The tan suit is important, however, not just because it flies in the face of all the “dress for succes” power suit rules, but because the color made him look physically sick. At least it did on my large screen TV. His complexion was patchy and discolored. Of course, the fact that he’s let his hair go white doesn’t help either. And the suit was baggy on him. Doesn’t he have a tailor?

Yes. HH Gregg has a simple set on sale this weekend for $499. I have $2000 soaked into this LG set.

Obama is acting aloof
Like a pigeon atop a high roof
Every ISIS attack
He was gone, turned his back
Is he real or is this just a spoof?

Roper, I believe. That is Whirlpool’s discount brand. It’s just a top loader. Not the cheapest model, but one rung up.

That’s what our serviceman recommended. But it wasn’t as deep a basket as the GE.

Gotcha! I probably should have done that. It would be more akin to the 27 year old Whirlpool set I’m giving (gave) up. But, my old style set was oversize, and the newer, cheaper sets are small — thus you have to do more loads.

Whoever asked for the dryer doors to open sideways instead of top to bottom, like an oven? Whoever asked for the machines to give up the old style impeller? Whoever asked for the new machines to be 3 times as expensive as the old style machines and to last less than half as long? Whoever asked that the new style machines not fit in old style (pre-1990) laundry rooms?

Certainly NOT the consumer!
