Interesting observation about happy people live.
Me? I pretty much could care less what most people say about me.

To be sure, there are serious moments in the course kf a day but, so what?
Deal with it and be greatful for the rest of the day and find gratitude for the smallest of things.
Some people see rain and go "Ugh! ".
I see rain and imagine greener pastures, flower and if it's winter I definitely think "Rain? Let's see what the snow report is in Tahoe".
A month ago my brother and went fishing in his boat. Damned engine crapped out on us 5 miles up from the dock where we started.
No problemo!
We broke out oars and paddled the boat back, all they while catching fish as we drifted between rounds of oar pulling.
We had a great time and even laughed our butts off when lost Rapal lures we couldn't retrieve.
Point is; "Life is a Lemonade Stand. Drink up and enjoy the cool refreshing flavor, with some mint leaves"

I was over forty when I finally realized that almost no one was thinking about me one way or the other. I don't know why it suddenly dawned on me when it did but it was clear as day that it was absolutely true. That freed up my mind and relaxed me more than anything else up to that point.
Why do people write or say, “I could care less,” when they mean, “I couldn’t care less?” That’s as far as I got in the article.
Maybe, if we wanted to try, we could care less but, since won’t waste our time, we couldn’t care less?

Yeah. I'm flirting with sixty, and even now almost didn't remember that little bit of level-headed wisdom in a recent business and work situation. I'd forgotten it and was about to make a probably stupid move until I stopped and remembered. They're probably not thinking about me a whole lot, so it's dumb to approach it as if they were. The peace of mind was sudden and sure.
I was over forty, too, when I stumbled upon my personal "set me free" bit of wisdom that widened my whole perspective, and that was "You can accomplish anything if you don't care who gets the credit." That one ... hit me like a platinum sledgehammer! It set me free!
