God bless ALL of you! Prayers from me.
Prayers up for your son and for you and all who love him.
Marie, may your heart be at peace, and your son’s heart be healed. May the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus shine upon both of you, covering you in His most perfect love.
prayers
Prayers up and continuing, Marie.
Lord Jesus Christ our Healer and Savior, heal, we beseech Thee, that young man from all disease.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
After reading this post......I suggest God is trying to get his attention.
This could be a blessing in disguise.......and I mean that in the best possible way!!!!
Prayers being said for your Son, all your family, and a special prayer for you, Marie.
This is going to be long. Theres a lot of details to go through all the way around.
1. Hes improving by every single marker that can be measured.
2. This morning, he was examined by the cardiologist and his heart is perfect. No sign of heart damage, malfunction, or pericarditis. All of the cardiac markers in his blood work is back to normal.
3. He does have pancreatitis, but (as of 6AM this morning) thats improved significantly.
He may have passed a gallstone last night and that wouldve fixed the problem.
Theres a lot of debate about what happened with his heart. One doctor thinks that he had a small blood clot (from laying in a hospital bed for days), but they hit him with blood thinners within minutes and that wouldve taken care of the problem by the time they actually looked at his heart.
Another doctor thinks that he never had a clot and that he was just guarding and straining so hard from the pain that he ripped muscles and his heart rate went up and palpitated from stress.
At this time, there is NO sign of pericarditis, but it was there yesterday.
Hes going to have to baby his pancreas for a couple of weeks (no alcohol, low-fat diet) while it heals.
There are a few possible reasons why he couldve gotten the disease (gallstones, infection), but we may never know.
Theyre running more tests on him today (abdominal CT scan and others) just in case somethings being missed.
Long story short its all good news! Hes going to recover and be fine.
One of the problems with understanding a situation like this is that they hit him with so many meds and his body has a natural healing process, that problems can be fixed before they find them. Everyone (Griffin) really wants to understand what caused it so he can avoid the problem in the future, but life doesnt work that way.
Right now, were all going to be happy that hes doing better and that hes healing. He should be going home soon.
I do believe that prayer may have played a part in this. All of the things that were abnormal yesterday are perfect today. He’s thrilled with the sudden and dramatic turn-around and is so relieved to have his pain reduced to a manageable level. It does raise my eyebrow that he had pericarditis yesterday and it’s gone today.
At the very least, you all gave me a tremendous amount of support and comfort and I cannot thank you enough for that.
He may live long enough to mature into the fine young man that he’s growing into! :D
Thank you all so much.
W O N D E R F U L ! ! ! ... Praising the Lord!!!!
Thank you, Lord, for saving my son. Thank you for healing him. Please continue to heal him until he is, once again, the perfect being that You designed.
Thank you for your comfort. Thank you for surrounding this family in comforting prayer.
Please grant him wisdom. Please grant him restraint. Please guide him like the loving Father that You are.
Amen
That’s fantastic news. Praise God. May he continue to heal and stay well!
Thank The Lord .
Praise the Lord that your son is going to be well again. I’m so glad that the worst was over before I saw the prayer request.
