It seems everyone has an opinion about the Calgary radio stations choice to adopt the new QuickHitz editing program, writes G&B writer Vanessa Azzoli.
We certainly cant forget the rock songs we love (and sometimes love to hate) that need to be listened to in their full length in order to be awesome. Ive put together a list of some of my favourites. There are some obvious choices on here I think every person I asked said Stairway to Heaven.
But, there are some on here that I think most of us forgot about. What are your favourite lengthy rock tunes?

Echoes and Atom Heart Mother, Pinkus Floydius!
Beat me to it. Listen to Atom Heart mother.
Shine on you Crazy Diamond.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uwEFG7pU-8
Both are amazing! I remember back around 1980 or so, somebody called a local FM station in the middle of the night and told the DJ there were northern lights visible. He announced on-air that he had to perfect music to go with it then played Echoes in its entirety.
Echoes still gives me chills sometimes. The Version I posted is from Live at Pompeii. Amazing.

Mmmmm, Can’s “Future Days” and “Bel Air,” plus Sonic Youth’s “Trilogy” at the end of Daydream Nation.
I heard it through the Grapevine...CCR
Looks like Jimmy Page on Dual-Neck guitar.
A friend of mine is a critically acclaimed LA-based mastering engineer who re-mastered Who’s Next from the studio masters. He was kind enough to gift me a CDR burned direct from the master tapes that included those bonus tracks. Sound quality is much, MUCH clearer than the pressed CD and certainly enhances the music - truly a classic album!
Live at Leeds!
Ridin’ Dirty by Chamillionaire
The Who were great but Pete went weird.
