when I was in college, I used to work as a security guard at a biotech in andover ma. when I did the rounds on the weekends, I heard the cries of dogs they were experimenting on. (they also had other animals). some of them they had cut part of their jaws out. I don’t believe God allows the suffering of one type of creature as an excuse to help another type.

personally i couldn’t do that to animals. i spend too much time caring for them.
Of course what you say it true, horrible!!! But making them the equals of people is NOT the answer. Opens all kinds of doors that we are not going to want open!
