So it took six shots to bring him down. He must have been drugged out of his mind! I don't blame the cop for avoiding a "struggle".

I read the whole article, and nothing in the article supports the headline. Baden was actually noncommittal about whether there was a struggle, saying that the condition of the police officer would shed light on that. Baden merely said that some abrasions on Brown likely occurred when he fell; he did not say that this proved there was no struggle. The LA Times fans the flames . . .

A preliminary autopsy commissioned by the family of Michael Brown suggests that there was no sign of a struggle in his death...

I stopped reading right there. Let's wait for the official report from someone that may not be politically motivated.

I'm not sure why we're splitting hairs here when the 'victim' is now known to have violently robbed a convenience store minutes earlier?

Have we lost our flippin' minds? (Purely rhetorical question, of course).

It is strange that all of the bullets that struck the arm did not come out the other side.

I want to know about the knuckles on his hands. I realize it’s a rumor, but I heard the cop was treated for a broken eye socket. Regardless, he his face did sustain a beating.

Does ANYONE know the make, model, and caliber of the officer’s handgun?

Rush is now reading policeman’s account of shooting.

That there wasn’t a struggle doesn’t mean there wasn’t about to be one.

“... after a Ferguson, Mo., police officer killed the unarmed, black 18-year-old.”

They needed to continue...”18-year-old teen while he was walking home from a convenience store.”

Well I don’t blame the cop for shooting him dead if indeed he did go for his gun. I’m not going to buy any Marijuana inducing rage incident though, Marijuana just doesn’t work that way — that is unless dusted with another drug such as pcp or some of the bath salts kids have been trying.

Think how much differently this would have or may have played out if there were 2 cops in the patrol car? Or if he called it in before engaging.

At worst it sounds like a case of a cop being overzealous in a situation he shouldn’t have been.

The family should ask itself, why did we raise a mugger?

The family lawyers are just engaged in jury tampering.

It is all a racist conspiracy. blah blah blah (we want free stuff)

This is a sham autopsy. It is incomplete. No toxicology, No residue on clothes analysis.

The lawyers are even contradicting the six from the front and the lawyers are creating a magic from the back.

One bad apple on ANY police force is one bad apple too many.
COP CAMS would prevent many or ALL of these sorts of tragedies. (To be effective, these devices MUST be “ON” during the entire shift and any officer whose device fails to capture the event under investigation or attempts to defeat the device should be summarily dismissed.)

IF THE OFFICER IN THE MICHAEL BROWN SHOOTING HAD WORN A COP CAM, ONE WAY OR THE OTHER, THIS INCIDENT WOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN SETTLED and Ferguson, MO wouldn’t be burning every night and Al Sharpton and the other racist agitators would have to get REAL jobs (if they could find them).

And let’s all remember that even cops and elected officials have families, any one of which could become the victim of the senseless act of some rogue cop who’s having a bad day and wants to pass it on.

ST Louis PD considering legal action against Highway Patrol for forbidding their wearing shields and helmets. I hope they’re fast as the Molotov cocktails and broken bricks rain down. The MO National Guard sent to Ferguson will also be operating under the direction of the Hwy Patrol.

Did Dr. Baden-Baden do a medical exam on the Officer to check for injuries?
Noooooooo. Piss-poor witness for the thug & FOM(Friends of Mikey).
I do understand that Officer Wilson did go to the hospital, for treatment and had photos taken. Ala George Zimmerman.

Ferguson Shooting Shock: Witness Unwittingly Captured on Audio Corroborates Police Story

However, the previously unnoticed conversation — which starts at 6:28 and involves a black male eyewitness (#2) relating what had transpired to a curious onlooker (#1) — tells a different tale (presented as transcribed by ConservativeTreehouse.com):

#1 How’d he get from there to there?

#2 Because he ran, the police was still in the truck — cause he was like over the truck

{crosstalk}

#2 But him and the police was both in the truck, then he ran — the police got out and ran after him

{crosstalk}

#2 Then the next thing I know he doubled back toward him cus — the police had his gun drawn already on him —

#1. Oh, the police got his gun

#2 The police kept dumpin’ on him, and I’m thinking the police kept missing — he like — be like — but he kept coming toward him

{crosstalk}

#2 Police fired shots — the next thing I know — the police was missing

#1 The Police?

#2 The Police shot him

#1 Police?

#2 The next thing I know ... I’m thinking ... the dude started running ... (garbled something about “he took it from him”)

This is significant because it’s evidence supporting the Ferguson Police’s account, which is that the officer in question, Darren Wilson, fired in self-defense while facing the prospect of grievous bodily harm. It also corroborates Wilson’s version of events, as related by a friend of his:

He [Officer Darren Wilson] pulled up ahead of them [Michael Brown and the other suspect]. And then he got a call-in that there was a strong-arm robbery, and they gave a description. And he’s looking at them, and they got something in their hands, and it looks like it could be what, you know, those cigars [stolen during the robbery] or whatever. So he goes in reverse back to them. Tries to get out of his car. They slam his door shut violently. I think he said Michael did. And then he opened the car again. He tried to get out. He stands up.

And then Michael just bum-rushes him and shoves him back into his car, punches him in the face, and them [sic] Darren grabs for his gun. Michael grabbed for the gun. At one point he got the gun entirely turned against his hip. And he shoves it away. And the gun goes off.

Well, then Michael takes off and gets to be about 35 feet away. And Darren’s first protocol is to pursue, so he stands up and yells “Freeze!” Michael and his friend turn around, and Michael taunts him… And then all the sudden he [Brown] just started bum-rushing him; he just started coming at him full speed. And so he [Wilson] just started shooting. And he just kept coming. And so he [Wilson] really thinks he was on something.

What should one conclude? IJReview.com makes the following point:

It’s far too unlikely that these two accounts are similar accidentally, having been from such disparate sources. The seeming witness in the background conversation is speaking with detail about the tragic shooting, and in a manner that runs contrary to the widespread version. Those who watch the video need to judge for themselves if the witness sounds reliable (but he would seemingly have nothing to gain by telling such a story.) [sic]
