I teach in Missouri. The computer based “Missouri Options” program is a computer based self paced tutorial for students who can't make it in regular classes. Most teachers view it as a joke, no academic rigor, a way to get an intentional non-learner to graduate.

Actually that was live yesterday. In the first minute of the video, the anchor talks about the shooting “seven days ago”.
When I saw this, I decided that the fix is in and CNN is part of it. When he says something about Big Dead Mike being a rapper, the interviewer does not push back to note what we all know, that his “rap” “music” was pretty much murder and hate. And what do we have here, cap and gown graduation pictures.
The full segment was at least ten minutes long, and there was absolutely no mention whatsoever of the robbery. That says to me that these were two people reading from a script that was written a couple of days ago, not a real interview.

Earlier reports by another of Michael Brown's teachers said he had not completed some necessary classes and not taken his final exams in other classes. Brown - at the pushing of his mother or for his own reasons - attended summer school this year and earned his diploma on August 1.
He was headed for technical school in HVAC work, not college.
