Oh yes, I think I saw this on facebook posted by my totally liberal but totally animal loving old friend.

Let me say here what I said there, we have a black cat and she is a lovey. I’ve heard they are in general very sweet cats, maybe having to overcome prejudice for so many centuries.

Adopt a lucky black cat, you’ll be glad you did.

Every black cat I've known has been a sweetheart...very loving and affectionate. It's hard to believe people still harbor leftover superstitions about them.
