So the old saying was “When seconds count, the police will be there in minutes”. I guess the new operative is “When seconds count, the police will be several hundred yards away doing nothing”. Don’t law-abiding citizens pay the salaries of these police and shouldn’t they have some expectation of them doing their responsibility (i.e., arresting these “protestors” who are looting)? This is a good example of how overwhelmed and frozen in place the authorities and their lackeys will be if a SHTF scenario strikes America. Citizen..be prepared to defend your self, family and property. No one else will.

Strange isn’t it.

This started with a display of force by police that was all out of proportion to the threat.

Claims were made it was the overwhelming display of force that ratcheted up the civil unrest.

Now there is no or very little display of force and the civil unrest seems to be escalating.

This isn’t just incompetence on the part of the police chief.

This has all the appearance of intentionally creating a “damned if you do and damned if you don’t” situation.

Just like the riots of 1992.

Police sat back and did nothing and the riots began spreading to other cities.

Maybe that’s been the plan all along.
