A Pennsylvania Christian bridal shop owner who refused to provide wedding gowns to a lesbian couple because of her religious beliefs was bullied by the lesbians on Facebook, where their post about the shop owners refusal to serve them went viral. The New York Daily News reports the lesbians, who tried to schedule an appointment at W.W. Bridal Boutique in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, were unidentified, but said the owner who was identified as Victoria Miller told them she [does] not service same-sex couples. We feel we have to answer to God for what we do, Miller told The Press Enterprise. And providing those two girls dresses for a sanctified marriage would break Gods law. Subsequently, the two lesbians turned to Facebook, which led to online listings for the bridal boutique to be downgraded to one-star reviews. Jesus made everyone feel welcome, shame you are not a follower of Christ, one man commented on Facebook. According to the News, the Bloomsburg Town Council is meeting Monday night to discuss the incident and whether to propose legislation that will ban businesses from refusing to serve LGBT customers, potentially providing the couple the means with which to sue Miller. Miller says she has hired an attorney to help defend her in the event a lawsuit is filed. Her shops website appears dark, and the status of her shop, as listed on Facebook, is permanently closed. A photo, contributed by Phillip J. Lagomarsino, next to her shops listing on Facebook, states, Your beliefs dont make you a better person, your behavior does.

That’s called taqiyah. Not really a Christian practice.
Essentially they agreed to let me have my opinion, however “arrogant” it may be.
So then I likened that “meme” to Genesis 3:4.
Apparently the conversation ended with that.
:)
Yep.
Narrow is the way.
Homosexuality is very “in” these days.
Sign of the times.
if your behavior doesn’t matter...
there’d be no sin and no reason to repent
They need to repent and seek forgiveness. Go to Confession. Jesus gave Peter and His Apostles the power to forgive sins. Whatver other “Christian” denominations may approve, the Catholic Church is steadfast against civil unions for gays, gay conduct, and gay marriages and gay adoption. Gay orientation is called an “intrinsically disordered inclination.”
Catechism of the Catholic Church (rev. ed.), 2358.

Indeed.
The owner didn’t refuse to cater to them - merely told them that there was no apparel in the world that could make them look pretty...
Good ending. ;-)
Here’s where checking a bible is invaluable.
The “get thee behind Me Satan” is not attributed to that encounter. It is “get away from Me.”
Peter was to be redeemed, by making Christ first (that makes Peter a follower not a leader as he brashly had presumed to be). The devil will not be redeemed (even if it were offered to him, he would refuse).
Thank you for that! I hate when people on threads like this say, "Oh, lie and say you don't have that size." Or, "The baker should go ahead and bake a cake and do a lousy job, or put Ex-Lax in it." A Christian can't do those kinds of things. A Christian is not going to lie, purposely do a bad job, or make people sick!
Besides, we shouldn't have to resort to tricks or lies. Any private business should be able to refuse service to anyone they want, for any reason, and openly say so. If we can't, we're not a free country.
“My day was spent arguing with someone about *this*”
Jesus is absolutely right. We have to make an effort to do things in “love”, and not in “judgement” of others. Though the flesh is weak, and we often times fail to meet Jesus’ expectations of us we must never forget that we will ALL be judged, once faced with Him.
I would have answered, “My God says if I help you celebrate your sin I will be just as guilty as you.” (Romans 1:28-32)
I just told the truth. :-)
“The satanic left twists the words of Scripture, which is why it is critical to read and know the Bible yourself. Lest you be fooled.”
Can’t be said too often. And we all need to have the rebuttals to that crap polished and ready to go at need.
“theyre good people”
No, they are sodomites. Sodomites are not good people, no matter how “nice” an act they put on.
Sodomites are destined for the pit of Hell, and helping them get there by calling them “good people” and condoning their loathsome perversions is not an act of kindness.
Yup.
