AVENEL - An Iraq War veteran says Six Flags Great Adventure turned him away in front of his wife and young children because of what he was wearing. Mario Alejandro says the park owes him an apology after saying the shirt he was wearing was inappropriate. The shirt features an M-16 in the colors of the American flag and the words, "Be Calm and Fire Back." Alejandro says it's patriotic.

Lucky it was not the flag itself on that shirt. He would be joining the other Marine is Mexico.

I go once a year with my god son.
I haven’t gone this year, but because of this, I will take him to Dorney Park. It’s going to cost a lot more in gas to get there. So be it.

A year before 9-11, I saw black T-shirts depicting a soldier crouching & aiming his M-16. The caption read,
“TAKING OUT THE GARBAGE”
It was worn by many 11th ACR soldiers at Fort Irwin, CA.
