I have heard repeatedly....ad nauseam...that Mr. Brown was an UNARMED TEEN.
Completely missing is the context. Be truthful, media. He was unarmed, according to reports, because he was unable to take the gun away from the police officer.

The witness is interacting with the police ,, so the answer is a resounding YES.

Now anytime you talk with [the police say that they need to talk with you] the police, you need a lawyer.
State and local governments should be the ones to levy taxes. It puts control back in the hands of the people.
How does that relate to the population of Ferguson? How many black cops are there in Ferguson? Before making assumptions a little homework may be in order.
Where is your proof he was attempting that?
Seems to me every time someone gets shot & killed by police they were trying to take an officer's weapon. According to the people who did the shooting.
“He is when he’s 30 feet away and running in the opposite direction.”
You better catch up on the news. Turns out the Cop was attempting to arrest Mike Brown for a robbery he was identified as having perpetrated just shortly before at a convenience store for which a bulletin had gone out to the police with a description of him given. So, the Perp was a thief whom the Cop was attempting to arrest when he was shot afte a struggle with the Cop. That’s your boy.
And you know this how? Did it come in a vision or did you speak with the cop in question? Maybe the Chief of Police made a statement on TV I missed?
Waiting until all the “facts” are known doesn’t get your story on the air. Citing hearsay and innuendo does.
Like the Bloom County Strip where Milo as the Gossip columnist is on the phone.....
“FACTS! I WANT FA- I MEAN INNUENDO!......I WANT INNUENDO!!”
Basic problem here. Why was the police officer attempting to put an un-handcuffed person in the back seat of his patrol vehicle?
At best, this is a major procedural gaffe, like not body searching someone before putting them in the vehicle.
“A high school diploma , a record clean of felonies and a short amount of classroom time is all you need ... ANYONE qualifies ... except if you have an IQ above 104 (average/normal +4pts which is the tests margin of error) ,, only average to slightly dull people need apply (the smart ones get discouraged and quit too soon).”
What pure BS coming from an obvious cop hater who has no idea of what he’s talking about. Talk don’t of requirements for rent a cops. Police departements throughout the country rely on civil service competitive exams and physical ability tests and many require at least a two year degree. As well as having a clean record and drug free.
Two in a police force of 55 is what I heard.
In the first place he's not my boy; not even my young man. In the second it's not at all surprising that the reasons for why Brown was stopped are all over the board. You claim it was because he was suspected of robbing a store. Other accounts claim it was because the cop thought he was riding a stolen bike. Others claim it was because they were walking in the middle of the street. Only one living person knows exactly what happened. And I think his version may be a bit suspect, given the seriousness of the situation.
I think 3, but due to recent developments it is a moot point.
“You claim it was because he was suspected of robbing a store. Other accounts claim it was because the cop thought he was riding a stolen bike. Others claim it was because they were walking in the middle of the street.”
For heaven sakes, would you please turn on your TV. It’s all over all of the channels that Brown strongarm robbed a convenience store, that the robbery went out over police dispatch, and a half hour later was stopped by the Cop Darran Wilson in response to the strongarm robbery call. Stop arguing from ignorance or you are no better than a Dem.
I didn’t say it was. I said it’s not unusual for a body to lie while an investigation is being conducted. It looked to me from the video that an officer covered the body at one point and at another point they set up a barricade.
Did the Coroner come out to the scene? If he did he may have had something to do with the amount of time.
The son of a friend of mine was in the local police academy. He left the program when he realized that he wasn't being trained to be a public servant.
Basically, he was being considered for entry into a gang. Loyalty to the gang was to be valued above other considerations, such as the rights of the people with whom they would interact on the job.
Cops can lie and cops can tell the truth.
But one thing we can be sure of, in the ‘black community’, “NO SNITCHING” is the first and most sacred commandment. No black is ever going to tell on a “brutha”. Therefore, you’ll always get the black-as-victim story. And yes, sometimes it really is the truth they’re telling, but who knows?
