At the conference, held in San Diego, Calif., in late June, Brown said California had addressed the fact that millions of children in the state’s school do not speak English.
You have to do more to be able to create that opportunity and that pathway for those families that are not having that same skill of speaking English as others,” Brown said.

Brown also spoke about immigration and “brown power.”
After giving a jumbled history of Spanish and Mexican occupation in California before statehood, Brown said power always shifts, including in the United States.
“The point is, you never keep control forever,” Brown said. “There’s always new waves coming.
“So you’ve got to stay ahead of the wave,” he added. “That’s what we call brown power.”

He’s not using “affluent” the way we may think he is. He’s using “affluent” to describe “middle class”.
Private school likely or homeschool, maybe, but even then in country club Republican families of my parent’s circle most had 2 children, occasionally only 1 or horror of horrors 3. Basically you replaced yourselves.
Don’t know I agree with that entirely. Some of us went to college, got good jobs, got married and had multiple kids.
Part of it too it confidence in yourself and your culture. If you think that Western culture is the source of all evil and racism, you’re less likely to have kids.
You are correct. In CA the progressive income tax kicks in the highest rate at only around $46,000.
The creators of Obamacare were expecting young working people to pick up the tab. Fewer young people means fewer tax “slaves.”
