Polish Couple Fall Off Cliff And Die While Taking Selfies
By Elahe Izadi August 11
The view from the cliffs of Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, north west of Lisbon, Portugal. (Associated Press/Armando Franca) A Polish man and woman taking selfies at the cliffs of Cabo Da Roca in Portugal on Saturday fell to their deaths. According to investigators, the couple had been taking photos of themselves when they fell down a cliff and into the Atlantic Ocean, NBC reports. A rescue team recovered their bodies Sunday after having to suspend their search Saturday due to bad weather.
Falling off of a cliff while snapping a photo is an uncommonly tragic event, but there is a wider trend of being distracted by digital devices that has become the focus of several public safety campaigns from car companies and government agencies.

Jerk.
I know a Polish immigrant that is a published chemist and has several patents and books. Do you? His Polish wife is a gifted pediatrician.
Being part Polish, I'm fascinated by your comment.
For example, what in particular does it say?
Exactly, I mean.
I guess they wanted to go a bit further west...
Cleaning up the gene pool?
“LOL. Very refreshing.”
LOL!
Oh dear heavens! That is just too much. Now these poor little children are orphans. I hope they have grandparents!
The Washington Post is racist.
I’ll be damned-—I’ve been there.
.
Do you know what Geronimo says wen he jumps from an airplane ? MEEEEEEEeeeeeeeee!!!!
Not a selfie situation but Paul Stojanovich, producer of Cops and World’s Wildest Police Videos, fell to his death while backing up—posing for a picture on a cliff:
(Wiki):
>>Stojanovich died on March 15, 2003 after accidentally falling off a cliff on the Oregon coast while posing for a photograph his fiance, Kim Crowell, was taking. He was 47. His body was found 29 days later by kayakers Ben Baker and David Steinberg at Short Sands Beach after his body washed up to the shore.
“people being beheaded for being Christian yet we still have the Polish jokes....”
Do you usually go into non sequiturs as a rant? What the Hell does the beheading of people have to do with Polish jokes? Nothing, that’s what.
Actually it does. It has to do with stereotyping and grouping people to be approved of or............not. It has to do with dehumanizing people by putting them in a category or group. They cease being people. It’s what Democrats did to the black population, they made them government slaves, a group, instead of people.
I have seen others do that too at the Grand Canyon. People crawl over the barrier fences and get their picture taken while standing on the very edge. At Yellowstone I watched from my vehicle as a woman stopped her car in the middle of the road and walked toward a Grizzly bear to get its picture. She was lucky that the bear was still groggy from a cold winters hibernation and wasn’t interested in her.
In fact it's where many of us ran TO.
After the Shameful Partitions by Prussia, Russia and Austria, why do you think so Many Jews ended up in those countries?
Or Had Polish Names?
I am Proud of Poland, wish I had Polish Blood (which half of me being German and what I just said, I probably do somewhere)

They were trying to back further away from the camera????
I heard they were Polish-American. Wow, what a mix !
My family came from somewhere in the area of Poland that was swapped back and forth many times across a thousand years due to wars, land grabs, treaties, etc. My Polish last name even indicates this in the arguableness of its etymology. And when younger, I was mistaken many times for Jewish, even though I came from a staunchly verifiable Polish Roman Catholic family. So who knows for sure.
Also (as an aside), check out the Polish fighter pilots in the Battle of Britain. Not a lot of people know about them...
People do not say about Polish people because of the way Polish people are; they say it because of the way they are.
