Ditto... I was stationed in Naples Italy.... I was just doing the local thing (I told myself) on the way to Rome I hit 212 kph (yah yah, I’m red-blooded too, about 135 mph) on N Italian pasta rocket. Cagiva Raptor 650. Scared sh*these but quite a thrill.
My “adventure in speeding” was about 16 years ago. The bike, a 1993 HD FXR, is still my ride. I haven’t pushed her that hard since!
You mentioned a 650 pasta rocket. I had a Honda CX650 which had a moto-guzzi transverse V twin, much like a Moto-Guzzi. Was it similar to yours?
