That’s -67.72*F. The coldest temperature I’ve experienced, while outdoors, was only -59.5*F. That type of cold has a fearsome quality. At -67*F, you probably can’t have a conversation outdoors. If you try, you’d have to pick up your words, and carry them indoors to thaw out by the stove. It’s important to heat them up in order, otherwise your speech would be garbled.

Super cool here on the Texas gulf coast today, 70s F. NICE! We have been sitting out on the porch all day. It is about 20 degrees below average here! LOVE IT!

The coldest official temperate in Colorado was -61. These people must have been totally unprepared.

Too cold for mercury thermometers. They freeze solid at -39°C (-38°F).
