Duncan’s care probably costs $18,000 to $24,000 a day, said Gerard Anderson, a health policy professor at Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Oh. I forgot. We need to add in the cost of the experimental drug. Found this:

Providing Brincidofovir for compassionate use will cost the company about $50,000 per dose. Since the drug is not yet approved, most insurance will not cover it.”
