First, there will be a lot of misplaced panic. But there’s no reason for most Americans to fear of Ebola’s wider spread. While Ebola is highly infectious, it is not very contagious.

This directly contradicts the latest information from CDC issued yesterday. In fact, this strain of Ebola is highly contagious.

Also, the euphemism for the CDC's "sweeping powers" should be noted-- "tools."

I caught that as well. ‘Tools’ instead of ‘police state powers in affected regions’.

It’s true. Ebola is not contagious before symptoms appear, and does not spread through aerosols. You need direct contact with infected body fluids to get it.

Those body fluids, however, are extremely infectious. Hence, the space suits. It only takes a tiny splash.
